Members RogueAgent Posted April 28, 2014 Members Posted April 28, 2014 Took my 8 yr old son and one of his friends out for his birthday Saturday morning to see if we could catch some bluegill on live bait. We put in at Aunt's Creek at 7. We motored toward Point 10 to one of my favorite docks. The dock had two boats on it already so we stayed out and tied the boat to a standing cedar in 15 fow while we waited for the dock to clear up. We fished there for a half hour and my son's little friend caught a keeper spot on a drop shot with a night crawler on crappie gear. That was fun to watch! Finally the dock fishermen left and we motored over and tied up. It was on for the next two hours. The boys had a blast and caught over a dozen hand sized gills. We found them in 10-15 fow and the drop shot live worm worked really well. Good times!
REDSOXWSCHAMP Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 nice gills, too bad the little guy has a st.louis hat on.

REDSOXWSCHAMP Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 I always catch crap about my redsox, so i gotta dish it out whenever i can. As long as he had fun!
