I'am bringing the wife and son down to bowfish carp this weekend. Can anyone offer any suggestions where the carp have been active so we can some fun?

Yes we are. My buddies left me high and dry, so I really doubt my nine year old and myself will have much of a chance. We decided instead of cancelling, the family would come down and have some fun anyway.

I was at Beaver last Saturday on the lower (dam) end of the lake and big carp were milling around everywhere in the pockets with timber. They weren't on the banks but holding just under the surface out in the timber. Big Clifty arm was full of 'em. They may be doing the same on the lower end of Table Rock but I haven't seen any up in the White River arm (Shell Knob area).

It's all about having fun! Getting to spend time with family and making memories is what counts

Thanks Men! My son saw some grass carp photos which were as big as him, 50 pounds, that were shot somewhere on the lake. He is bouncing off the walls just to have the opportunity to be on a lake with fish that big. Thanks Champ for your report. Looks like the weather should be good, and like you said Red Sox, its about having fun.

There are lots of guys scouting and shooting huge fish on facebook. Hopefully on Sunday, we will see you RedSoxChamp on the scales and my son will have a fish to brag about.
