Is Mutton creek ramp going private? There was a sign up that said " Ramp for campground people only" No one said anything to me about launching,I thought it was a Corp. ramp.

Was this at the south ramp by the marina or the north ramp across the cove?

The south ramp (marina ramp) is private. The north ramp is a corp ramp, and open to the public.

They have closed all campgrounds for day use! Campers only they would not let us in hawker or bona and we offered to pay the camper fee and they said NO Campers only you must have a tent I was not happy I just wanted to fish and mushroom hunt.

I thought the annual passes you can buy got you entrance into all the parks, to launch or do whatever ??

I think the corps of engineers is in trouble, either that or they are just getting lazy

called stockton lake project mgr office. mutton creek south ramp has been leased to the campground so they have the right to make it campers only. i cut and pasted some information on the other boat ramps in question. i hope this helps out.

Hawker Point Boat ramp is located in Hawker Point Campground. The boat ramp offers a courtesy dock and restroom. Boaters must pay a $3.00 Day-Use fee from March 1 through November 30 to launch their boat from the ramp. Day-Use permits are available in the honor pay vault near the boat ramp with instructions. Annual Day-Use passes are honored and must be displayed.

Cedar Ridge North Boat Ramp is located in the Cedar Ridge Campground. The boat ramp offers a courtesy dock and restroom. The boat ramp is ONLY available to campers during the April 16 through September 30 camping season, but is open for day-use during all other times of the year. Boaters must pay a $3.00 Day-Use fee from March 1 through November 30 to launch their boat from the ramp. Day-Use permits are available in the honor pay vault near the boat ramp with instructions.
