yaknar Posted May 5, 2014 Posted May 5, 2014 I went out Friday, dressed as if I was going to shovel snow, 38 degrees, but it turned into a beautiful day. I had the same luck as htwo82 did, and only caught sunfish, goggle eyes, and some small smallmouths. So the only pictures I could take was of the river and one pretty little bass
marcusearlt Posted May 6, 2014 Posted May 6, 2014 What a pretty section of river that is and that smallmouth has got some of the most unique markings I've ever seen. It's funny how different the patterns on smallmouth can be, fish by fish, river by river, or even hole by hole. What were you catching them on? yaknar Posted May 6, 2014 Author Posted May 6, 2014 marcusearit, I was throwing crankbaits, medium and deep, along with plastic swimbaits. I caught almost all the fish on deep crankbaits.
