Eleven Point- Turner Mill Area

We will be spending some time near Turner Mill in a week or so, my wife loves to take pictures.

Is it mostly trout water, smallmouth, or both in that area?

Trout stamp needed, even for catch and release? Bait restrictions?

Any cool areas nearby?

Nice area. Trout for the most part. No stamp needed unless you keep one. It is the lower end of the restricted area, depends on where you go from the access.

I like coming in from the East side thru the Wilderness. You can see the old mill and spring without crossing the river.

The old mill is at turner north, well worth the trip. Hike down to Greer spring while you are there too.

Thanks guys. We have been to the old mill and spring. The iron wheel is pretty neat.

Fished the gravel bar just above the ramp last time and caught 1 rainbow. We want to check Greer as well.
