J-Doc Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 Shouldn't be anything they are not used to by now over the last 5 months. :-) Need marine repair? Send our own forum friend "fishinwrench" a message. He will treat you like family!!! I owe fishinwrench a lot of thanks. He has been a great mechanic with lots of patience!
Feathers and Fins Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 At this point I think the fish are even wanting to shoot a weatherman. Day after the front typically not so good but on Beaver I have had some banner days on the day its not suppose to be good. I swear if you can catch fish on Beaver you can on any lake in the world I have never fished such a challenging lake but on the same line its because of it that I have become more versatile and adaptive to what it will take to catch a fish. There are a few patterns that hold true on her though. Post front look for fish to have moved out a little deeper on main lake points or to have moved on to flats. They do it to get to the warm afternoon sun and to chase the shad that move on it for warmth ( late spring fronts ) the other pattern is the sheltered side of wind swept points picking off prey as they go over it. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Beaver-Lake-Arkansas-Fishing-Report/745541178798856
