Members biglifer Posted May 16, 2014 Author Members Posted May 16, 2014 Has he tried the Ned? Hard to slow down, but highly rewarding once done. We've briefly dabbled with the Ned, with mixed results. Think I might need to go with a smaller head (using 3/8). Not able to "crawl" it over the rocks like we can with smaller creature/finesse style baits rigged Texas on an 1/8th. With that, we can go real slow, crawling it over obstacles not getting hung nearly as often. We've had much better results this way. Think I'll have to work on my Ned setup to get better results.

Yes, the 3/8 is about 3-4x too heavy. Try a 1/16-1/8 oz head.
