Seems like I remember reading 25 HP max up to Indian creek then no gas motors. I have been looking and can't find anything on it now. Does anybody know?

Never heard of such a thing. Are you wanting to go up Indian Creek or just further up Elk? I know I have seen the Sheriff's patrol in a jet all the way up to Big Sugar though. Not sure about the regs of motors on Elk. Contact Rick at the Conservation Dept. in Neosho and he can tell you.

Spoke to a game warden said it was just fine run anything you think you can. Its a river you can have a boat on it just don't be surprised when the floaters cuss you ;)
