Members Aleutian06 Posted June 17, 2014 Members Posted June 17, 2014 I picked up a used minn Kota endurance 30 trolling motor . Hooked up to the battery (fully charged) got nothing. I pulled the head off and found both the red and black battery cables seemed to have been hot at the switch that the tiller handle connects to. Motor seems to turn free. Can you replace the switch that controls forward and reverse?
fishinwrench Posted June 18, 2014 Posted June 18, 2014 Bypass the switches first to make sure the motor is truly good. Then test the switches with a volt/ohm meter to see if they are bad.
