Floated from Delaware to shelving today. Did not catch a lot of fish but had 1 good one. Most fish absolutely missed the buzzbait and had very few bites on a jig. If you found skinny, fast moving water with rocks you could catch all kinds of small spots and small mouth on the buzzbait or small crankbait. Overall a good day just to be out

Nice fish. I went from Kerr about halfway to Galena. SM were biting but OMG the people, there had to be 300+ canoes, rafts, tubes, kayaks, jon boats what have you. You name it, it was there. We were camping about 2.5 miles above Galena and saw multgroups of way drunk floaters at 8:30 who were going to be paddling in the dark without a light. I was worried for them.

I did Hootentown to Kerr first weekend in May. A lot of flat shallow water between McCall bridge and Kerr. Zip for good camping spots. Gets a lot better below Kerr.

I was in the long jon boat. We probably passed one another at least once. Or maybe you got in just ahead of me.
