Members Duggie Posted July 25, 2014 Members Posted July 25, 2014 Never fished the area, so my question is, can I reserve a campsite for my RV in the Park and be able to fairly easyily walk to the headwaters of the Current, where the Blue Ribbon Management Area begins in able to wade the first couple of miles downstream? Or do I need to have a vehicle and drive to Baptist Camp Access area and go from there. Just as soon not take a toll vehicle. Thanks for any response.
jdmidwest Posted July 26, 2014 Posted July 26, 2014 Its a short walk with good paths from the lower campground to the river. If you have a daily tag, you can just fish your way down stream from the lower campground. There is a wire across the river at the split. Plenty of good water between there and Tan Vat access. Usually enough fish that you will not have to venture far and fish alot. "Life has become immeasurably better since I have been forced to stop taking it seriously." — Hunter S. Thompson
Members Duggie Posted July 26, 2014 Author Members Posted July 26, 2014 THanks for that info, Really appreciate it. Are the lower campgrounds like Loop's 3-4?
Gavin Posted July 26, 2014 Posted July 26, 2014 Loop 4 is closest to the blue ribbon it's a couple hundred yards from there to the wire.
