I got the new rig in the water about 6:30. Headed out to a spot around the islands and snagged a walleye. Only 16" so he went back. Then snagged a white on a spoon. Jogged f he spoon and even a Bobby Garland little summer for whites and only mustered one fish. I know they were whites. I could see them on my graph. I'd get right over them, drop down, nothing. Odd situation.

The poor taste in music from neighboring wake-craft annoyed me and drowned out my Jimmy Buffett music from my phone so I "ventured to Ventris" to test new prop and escape some wake boats. Checked a secondary point and as soon as I'm off plane and on the deck, whites start randomly surfacing. I cast directly at a topwater feed with spoon and no bites. Odd situation. They just lock in on a certain bait.

After a phone call from F&F, I headed back to the marina to load the boat. Trolled in to the ramp and didn't get bites there either. Fish are all over the graph.

If you want to find fish, just turn on a graph at Prairie Creek area. Better have some live shad from Hook Line & Sinker too or you could have a long day. I recommend drifting with live minnows down to 23-26ft. Some fish are in open water too.

Stay off the bank. Wasting your time. :-)
