It gives me so much happiness that the royals are doing better than the cardinals!!!!!

I hope the Royals can pull it off the last month and a half. Not sure many Cardinal fans really dislike the Royals....although some are probably still a bit bitter about 1985. KC has some loyal fans and I always enjoyed my trips to Kauffman to see the Royals/Cards play. Would like to make a trip to see a Sporting KC game.

Cardinals are just not very good this year...they probably still make the wild card with only Pittsburgh and San Francisco as the only other contenders for those two sports. The pitching is pretty good and will only get better next year. Just need to upgrade a bit on offense in the off season, but this year I am not expecting much. In fact is probably one of the more boring Cards team I have watched in awhile. I am not sure people are all that upset...it is one of those years and we didn't trade any of our prospects for a quick fix. Sometimes a team just doesn't gel and this is one of those years.

Matheny must be pretty good at sucking umpires $%^, cause the umps gave that game to the cardinals last night. I know the padres are not very good, but those calls last night are the worst i've seen all year.
