Members Amosboy Posted August 17, 2014 Members Posted August 17, 2014 Hi everybody. Fishing from Eagle Rock Bridge to beaver. Fishing seems a little slow for me this time of year. Been using mostly Carolina or Texas rigs with plastic worms. May try some night crawlers on my Carolina rigs in hope for some better action. Supposed to be in the 90s all next week but I've got the fishing bug and want to go anyway. Guess all try early and late and hope for the best!
Quillback Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 It is tough no doubt about it. Welcome to the site!
gramps50 Posted August 18, 2014 Posted August 18, 2014 Not having much luck myself as of late. I normally fish plastic worms too. Been trying different presentation & colors bites & hookups few & far between. Tried some top water & cranks too. I'll just keep plugging away til the eater temp begins to drop. Welcome to the OAC
Kelroy Posted August 18, 2014 Posted August 18, 2014 Welcome to the forum! I agree, it's a tough bite lately. Most of the bites in our club are coming on small tx rig plastics, using a slow drag on the bottom, not hopping it at all.
