Members WillyJ Posted September 2, 2014 Members Posted September 2, 2014 Is this even worth trying on Beaver lake? I have been doing it without much luck....couple of catfish. Thank you, WillyJ
Feathers and Fins Posted September 2, 2014 Posted September 2, 2014 Yes it is worth doing, I catch more than a few every year with them. 3 and 4'' bream are best size, 3/0 circle hooks and fly lined or light split shot behind or under the boat at a crawl is the ticket. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Beaver-Lake-Arkansas-Fishing-Report/745541178798856
nathanhooper Posted September 3, 2014 Posted September 3, 2014 Caught 2 this year using the above method. Like fins said, keep them small. I personally would not be afraid to upsize the hook, but did catch some on the smaller size hook.
