Fished from 11-3. Fished a little bit if everything. Had one come off at the boat on a squarebill. Only caught 4 but they were all keepers. Right at 15". 3 were on a football jig missouri craw with a green pumpkin speed craw, one on a shakey head with a plum color trick worm. All fish were around 15 fow. 2 around big rock with timber and 2 on gravel. Water temp 76-78. Should have probably Started earlier and stayed later. Tons of gar everywhere. And lots of minnows or shad. Tr

No kidding about the gar. I was out today around Cape and they were almost everywhere I stopped. What's the deal? I've often heard that if the gar are around you won't catch any fish; which was true for me today. Caught four shorts on drop shot (2) & green pmpkn jig (2).

I probably saw you at some point, i was in a red bass tracker, trying to get out of the wind driving all over the place. My aluminum boat gets blown all over the place pretty easy
