Only caught 4 but they were all keepers. Right at 15". 3 were on a football jig missouri craw with a green pumpkin speed craw, one on a shakey head with a plum color trick worm. All fish were around 15 fow. 2 around big rock with timber and 2 on gravel. Water temp 76-78. Should have probably Started earlier and stayed later. Tons of gar everywhere. And lots of minnows or shad. Tr
Members InPiney Posted October 2, 2014 Members Posted October 2, 2014 No kidding about the gar. I was out today around Cape and they were almost everywhere I stopped. What's the deal? I've often heard that if the gar are around you won't catch any fish; which was true for me today. Caught four shorts on drop shot (2) & green pmpkn jig (2).
