Moonlight madness 12 hour tournament was out of Hickory Creek Saturday night. Only 15 boats showed with the nasty weather but the big bags showed up at weigh-in!! 6 fish limit...1st was over 21 lbs, 2nd was 18.98 lbs, 3rd was 18.57 lbs and 4th was 17.99 lbs!! Rumor was spinnerbait or a spinnerbait....

I myself did not fish it...I stayed home and watched my Cardinals get beat in game 1. :(

That's a nice bag to weigh in. I didn't even know there was a tournament. Not surprised really. This lake sees more tournaments than an Elite Bassmaster....

Man, that's some good weight. Glad to hear that. I know they are out there. Just hard to catch the bigger ones.

He will treat you like family!!! I owe fishinwrench a lot of thanks. He has been a great mechanic with lots of patience!

See I almost went one night but decided it was too late in the year. Now that another front passed through I still feel like it's too late.

Amery, way to many people get in that mindset and are missing out on some of the best fishing of the year. I have had fantastic days on all species in the middle of winter. Some of the biggest and best Crappie action I have had with snow on the banks and Walleye love cold as do stripers and the last hours first 3 hours of dark in winter over shallow flats that warmed during the day have given up some of my best bass of the year.

Bass love slugo and small cranks in winter in shallow water.

Just check the weather before you leave. :)
