Jbrant Posted November 9, 2014 Posted November 9, 2014 Put in at the dam about 8:30 this morning and fished till about 4. Fished primarily main lake points and bluff ends with wind. Caught 14 keepers and about 30 overall. A few smallmouth but mostly largemouth. Caught them on jigs, wobble heads, and spinnerbaits. Most were pretty tight to the bank. Nothing bigger than about 16 1/4" inches. Wind died down as the day went on. Hardly any boats on the water.
zarraspook Posted November 9, 2014 Posted November 9, 2014 Thanks for the report... Did you get a water temp reading ?? "Look up OPTIMIST in the dictionary - there is a picture of a fishing boat being launched"

smbasser Posted November 10, 2014 Posted November 10, 2014 I sat in at RB saturday am and primarily fished around that area and up towards birch branch. Stayed on the wind blown flats and shallow. Caught bass early on a white buzzbait where the wind wasn't as bad and once we were in the wind, threw both a spinnerbait and squarebill. Caught about as many white bass as blacks. Ended up bringing home 9 big whites with my best 5 bass around 12 lbs. Had one good one over 4 lbs right in with the whites.
Jbrant Posted November 11, 2014 Author Posted November 11, 2014 I didn't pay a whole lot of attention to water temps but think they were mainly 57 to 60.
