Roger Craig Posted November 10, 2014 Posted November 10, 2014 Been out on Long Creek (End of Tate Rd.) if you know that area, went out last night after work, managed to catch two decent bass, two oh..3-6lb channels, and my best flathead of the year in the 15-18lb range. Not sure why more don't hit that area hard, I see some big butt bass just cruising the bank here sometimes, like 1975 Big Bass. Wish I could find my darn camera to show ya proof, but they are still out there. Sure a few of ya can translate that into something for our fishing. Was a little cold out, not bad 50 or a tad less, but that was what the fire and a cpl beers were for. Heard some big surface hits for the cpl hours I was out there. 10-1am or so. God I hate I had to sell my little boat. (It was to help pay for a family members funeral, so I do not feel bad about that in the least), but I got fish in the freezer. Grew up on that lake, miss my spots lol. Give em hell boys.
Champ188 Posted November 10, 2014 Posted November 10, 2014 Thanks for the report, Roger. Hope you're able to get you another rig soon.
Pepe Posted November 11, 2014 Posted November 11, 2014 Sounds like you had a good outing. Congratulations on those catfish. I'm sure they will cook up nice
