ruthead Posted November 17, 2014 Posted November 17, 2014 Where is a good place to stay a couple nights after Thanksgiving while fishing RR? I know some of them close up this time of the year. Thanks in advance? "Pretty soon we may not have any rights left because it might infringe on someone's rights"
ruthead Posted November 18, 2014 Author Posted November 18, 2014 Let's try this again. Anybody? Anyone? Bueller? Bueller? "Pretty soon we may not have any rights left because it might infringe on someone's rights"
Lshack2 Posted November 18, 2014 Posted November 18, 2014 If you don't mind the drive Eureka Springs is about 30 minutes and has good food and hotel choices. Since fishing hours are 8:00 to 4:00 the amenities are worth the drive to me. Quillback Posted November 18, 2014 Posted November 18, 2014 You could stay in Bentonville or Rogers and be at RR in about an hour. Just about every hotel chain you can think of is in NW Arkansas.
Jeff Tief Posted November 18, 2014 Posted November 18, 2014 Roaring River Resort folks said that they would be open but only have the lower group of units available. This was the info I got the last week of October.
ruthead Posted November 18, 2014 Author Posted November 18, 2014 ok thanks. Appreciate the help. "Pretty soon we may not have any rights left because it might infringe on someone's rights"
chub minnow Posted November 24, 2014 Posted November 24, 2014 Ditto on Roaring River Resort. There are resorts open at Eagle Rock as well, I believe. Much closer than Eureka or Rogers.
redbird Posted November 24, 2014 Posted November 24, 2014 Is the campground at RR open this time of year? Im not a Cardinals fan, but I am a Cardinal. If you know me you know what that means.
Geoff Posted November 24, 2014 Posted November 24, 2014 campground is always open but the restrooms and shower houses will be closed generally. Going to be in the 60s down there now, should be great weekend to fish. "When you do things right, people wont be sure you've done anything at all."
ollie Posted November 24, 2014 Posted November 24, 2014 Restrooms are open over by the Rangers station and that campground might be open. I don't know that for sure though.
