ollie Posted December 7, 2014 Posted December 7, 2014 Went back down again to Capps today after fishing it last Sunday. Last Sunday was tough to say the least! I think I caught 4 and Buzz finished up with 3 before the competition was over, although he did catch another one after the time limit. This time I hit the creek somewhere around 9:30 and fished it until noon. The fishing was GREAT! Cloudy skies with hardly any wind and I was in heaven. Great temps as well. I ended up catching 11 in that time frame and all were great in there own way. The first fish caught was a nice 17" Brown that put up a great fight. I had to revive him for around 10 minutes before I felt safe in letting him go. He took off like a rocket and I felt a lot better. After that it was on! Caught a nice 16" bow as well in a hole I haven't fished in a long time. Will have to remember that next time I go down. They are in there if you know where and have a great plan to follow. This time they pretty much were almost always at the top of the run into deeper holes. I caught all mine on one jig that was an olive color that I tie. Surprising to me I didn't lose it earlier but the one caught them all without me losing it. I felt like justice had been done this week! lol Anyways here are some pics from the day. laker67 Posted December 7, 2014 Posted December 7, 2014 You surely had a great day Ollie, but you know, Buzz is never going to believe that story.
Buzz Posted December 7, 2014 Posted December 7, 2014 Lakers right I need more proof than a few photos.....Lol Looks like a good trip. I wish I was able to get out today. If fishing was easy it would be called catching.
