Bass Report - 12/12

[Skeeter ZX190]

Put in at Orleans Trail and headed up the Big Sac and then up into Sons Creek. Worked a bank on the east side across from Googer Creek. Caught 1 on my 8th cast. Then I went a long time before the next. Went pretty far back in Googer and worked a channel bank but nothing. I then went pretty far up Sons Creek. Worked a bank on the east side close to a big cut. Caught 5 bass there. Moved to the west side with timber and caught 12 bass and one walleye. Moved to a bank across from the Ruark Bluff swimming beach on the north side and caught 2 walleye and 2 bass. Headed back toward Orleans Trail and hit a couple of banks but nothing. Ended up in Orleans Trail cove and worked the south side by the buoy line and caught 2 more to end the day. I tried a wart and a jig & craw throughout the day, but nothing. Everything came on a Megabass 110. The fish were fairly shallow. 5 to 12 feet I would imagine. Water temps were 46 to 48.
