Flysmallie Posted January 22, 2007 Posted January 22, 2007 Gee, I guess I'll get the slacker award for this swap. I realized last night that I don't even have enough hooks! Not so fast troutchaser, I'm trying really hard for that award.
mizzouflyfisher Posted January 23, 2007 Posted January 23, 2007 Do you guys care if we add one more. I know you have to make deadlines and all, but my dad said he'd be in as long as nobody objected. I'm going to tie a clear d-rib midge and my dad would probably tie a chuck & duck sculpin or something of that nature. Mizzouflyfisher
Flysmallie Posted January 23, 2007 Posted January 23, 2007 Got them all finished up tonight. I have plenty if we are letting in Mizzouflyfisher's dad, I have no problems with that. By the way, I don't want anyone laughing and pointing at my pattern . It really works if it's fished right. It is for the smallies but I'm starting to wonder if one of those big old browns would like it??
Leonard Posted January 23, 2007 Author Posted January 23, 2007 so fine with me... that will give us the 15 we were shooting for.. I hope nobody else minds.. Leonard http://www.taneycomonights.com
Kansas Fly Fisher Posted January 23, 2007 Posted January 23, 2007 I don't mind at all. Welcome to the swap! John Born to Fish, Forced to Work KSMEDIC.COM
Steve Smith Posted January 23, 2007 Posted January 23, 2007 Cool with me. I got 16 flys and some extras for Leonard on their way so an extra tyer won't hurt a thing. ___________________________ AKA Flysmith - Cassville MO
troutchaser Posted January 23, 2007 Posted January 23, 2007 Wow, another swapper? That means I have to tie another fly on top of the ones I still haven't tied yet? Man, that's gonna cost me a whole 3 cents! Just kidding. No objections from my corner. I should have power back today, so I'll be able to get some tying done after we clean up. Spending 10 days in one room tends to make it cluttered and dirty. Paul Rone
Steve Smith Posted January 23, 2007 Posted January 23, 2007 Leonard; my flys are on the way via USPS with a postage paid return pack. I sent 16 ginger mini bugs and some extra flys for you for hosting the swap. Thanks ___________________________ AKA Flysmith - Cassville MO
