I've heard alot of the hotels and motels are full in Springfield. Well there's alot of empty rooms down here.

If you know of motel owners in branson who would like to offer rooms, let them know about this forum and get their information posted.

If you know of people who need rooms, get this info to them as quick as possible.

We have rooms open this week and thru the weekend.

For those in true need of a warm place to stay, or you know of someone who needs a place, please drop me an email -

If anyone knows of any chainsaw gangs or organized cleanup efforts, please post this information with contact info.

If anyone knows of any websites coordinating efforts, post them.

If anyone knows of any organized efforts as far as food drives or hot meals, post it.

I posted that we have openings thru the weekend... I was mistaken. We are full now starting Friday night but have lots of openings starting Sunday thru the NEXT weekend. Might not help many but if someone needs a room for three night starting tomorrow, we can help.

I'm going to check around tomorrow and see who's offering discounted rooms to displaced Springfieldians.

I know I speak for a lot of displaced Springfieldians when I say thanks to everyone who will help. The novelty of one room living and cooking over a fireplace has long-since worn off for my family. We're blessed to have a basement with a fireplace and plenty of wood, so I hope to be able to ride this one out. Many are not so fortunate. God watch over them, please.

Phil,

I sent you a message about my boss who is on a chainsaw crew here and they are working Springfield this afternoon. Don't want to post his cell number, but if anyone wants to volunteer to help, let me know and I'll get you in touch with him.
