Members bassangler Posted January 21, 2015 Members Posted January 21, 2015 Anyone been bass fishing stockton recently?
Members bassnut Posted January 21, 2015 Members Posted January 21, 2015 We went out Friday and Monday and was pretty slow both days. All we caught were on stick baits and A-rigs. Was a little surprised how shallow most of the fish were, most in less then 15'. Caught a few keepers but no good size. bassangler 1
Skeeter ZX190 Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 I was there Monday. Pretty tough bite and I agree that the fish were fairly shallow. I think the bite is tough because the fish have too many easy meals. The shad kill seems to be pretty prevalent which makes it easy for them to find something to eat. Aggressor1988long Posted January 23, 2015 Posted January 23, 2015 Shad kill means save your money and go to captain D's
Sac River Jim Posted January 24, 2015 Posted January 24, 2015 agree on the shallow jerk bait bite but you might try dragging the rig over deep brush piles on main lake points. the bite is slower but we are picking up better quality fish. Aggressor1988long 1
