ciRe Posted January 30, 2015 Posted January 30, 2015 If I was taking a guess it would be about 5 1/2 years. However his back isn't huntched down like most older deer but his belly is sagging like an older deer. I would have shot him though.

bs1827 Posted January 30, 2015 Posted January 30, 2015 I'd also agree with 5 1/2+. Beautiful buck! Did you take the picture?
jdmidwest Posted January 31, 2015 Posted January 31, 2015 Too tough to eat. Take the horns and give the rest to feed the masses. "Life has become immeasurably better since I have been forced to stop taking it seriously." — Hunter S. Thompson
rFisherk Posted January 31, 2015 Author Posted January 31, 2015 Yes, I took the picture. Oldest deer I've ever seen.
ciRe Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 If you have a facebook account you can probably send it to Grant Woods and he'll share it to other people and ask the age of the deer and give you his opinion in a day or two.
Fishslayer88 Posted February 2, 2015 Posted February 2, 2015 Never met a deer too tough for burger or the ole pressure canner.
luckycraft Posted March 1, 2015 Posted March 1, 2015 Cant see his teeth. that is the true measure of age bs1827 1
