aarchdale@coresleep.com Posted February 8, 2015 Posted February 8, 2015 Anyone besides sit at home to just avoid all the flatlanders and fair weather fisherman that they knew would be out on a 70 degree day in feb. I just dont think i could have handled the unloading/loading confusion of the 70 degree and abovers. My best days this year have been below the freezing mark and that is the truth, probably my favorite winter fishing
vonreed Posted February 8, 2015 Posted February 8, 2015 I thought that also, but my 6 year old wanted to go so we went to Beaver Creek ramp. It was fairly busy, maybe 15 or so rigs parked there but I got unloaded and loaded back up without waiting on anybody or anybody waiting on me at the ramp so that was a plus.
aarchdale@coresleep.com Posted February 8, 2015 Author Posted February 8, 2015 Well you cant say no to a 6 year old. I was at Beaver on friday. Only two rigs in the lot. Fishing was slow, only caught a couple Crappie and some short whites. Im sure if it would have been better i would have been back at it on saturday
vonreed Posted February 9, 2015 Posted February 9, 2015 I was hoping to find some crappie and whites also, but didn't catch a single one. I did get a walleye though so that was nice.
