Is the boat ramp ok with the low water, or do you have have to back the truck way in as you do at PC.

Thanks in advance

I honestly don't fish the upper end anymore. When I do, I have to adjust everything deeper by 10ft additional to anything I typically do. They can get shallow (fish) but most I see on graph are much deeper than I'm used to.

And for eyes, I'd go up river. Not down.

I very seldom fish the south and never in the winter this is the first year in 8 years that I fished beaver in the winter and then in the south. Normally my limits have come in the second week of March accordingly to my log. But with mild winter this year maybe sooner. 3 times this year up the river 0 walleyes. But is lost bridge south a good ramp for one person?

I really dislike that ramp to me its just to small and parking is a pain in the you know what. I would launch at Rocky Branch and make the run. Walleye are definitely hiding I have been talking to a lot of people this week all scratching their heads. The general thought train is they are up the river from Hickory to War Eagle but everyone is saying so is all the bait in the world and those eyes are well fed. The few I have seen from up their are all super fat and the guys said full of 2 to 3 inch shad.

I honestly don't know. With the low water, no idea. Hickory Creek has their dock out of the water and in the parking lot (rear ramp, not at marina).

I understand your frustration. The walleye have been a bit mysterious this year.

Maybe you should chunk and wind a jerkbait all day. Seems you have to bass fish to catch one. Lol!

I know ECACTLY where I'd go then. I bet you could find them.

I did go to lost bridge south. Ramp good but narrow as F&F stated. No fish as a matter of fact I did not mark much bait or fish. But I had walleye anyway, from the freezer. Only saw one boat and I did not dress warm enough.
