Deadstream Posted February 15, 2015 Posted February 15, 2015 Need some suggestions. Have a trip planned last of March with 4 guys from Michigan, one with COPD. We will be staying at Lilleys but they have mentioned fishing the big lake. Is Dewey Short an option? Any other ideas?
Quillback Posted February 15, 2015 Posted February 15, 2015 Corps of Engineer parks mostly have some bank fishing access, water is down right now so you can get around some on the bank. There's also some bank access below the Power site on Taney, I think it is considered to be Upper Bull Shoals - I never have been there but have heard bank fishing can be good if the water level is right - talk to the folks at Lilley's about that. If it was me, I'd probably just stick with the trout fishing at Taney. Another option is to save up some extra money and hire a guide for a day on Table Rock.
