Aggressor1988long Posted March 1, 2015 Posted March 1, 2015 Was thinking about a bass tournament last Saturday of march. Was thinking $20 a person for biggest fish. Of course this would be a lot of fun. Would be nice to get all of us together that fish the lake once a month.
Aggressor1988long Posted March 1, 2015 Author Posted March 1, 2015 of course all fish will be released. And 10% of winnings would go to the victory mission.
smbasser Posted March 1, 2015 Posted March 1, 2015 Do you have to get a permit? Would fellows allow it? I've had a tournament out there but it was all "under the table" and by honesty. Best 5 by catch, record And release
Members FrozenFingers Posted March 1, 2015 Members Posted March 1, 2015 What is the biggest motor you can run out there. 40 or 50 i believe?
Mofloatjunkie Posted March 1, 2015 Posted March 1, 2015 If you can make it happen I'll be there. I would recommend maybe just taking pics with an object in the photo to reduce mortality on fish.
Members ty424ler Posted March 1, 2015 Members Posted March 1, 2015 I am in if it is allowed, may be a good idea to shoot mdc an email and make sure there isn't a permit requirement and if the city has to approve it or not seeing as it is a city lake. It would definitely be a lot of fun!
Flysmallie Posted March 1, 2015 Posted March 1, 2015 If anyone has to approve it that would be City Utilities. They control the lake.
Aggressor1988long Posted March 2, 2015 Author Posted March 2, 2015 Im contacting city utilities this week, im pretty sure it will be fine considering part of the winnings go to victory mission.
Aggressor1988long Posted March 2, 2015 Author Posted March 2, 2015 If not we will go by honesty as basser said and still make it happen. No law against guys fishing against each other.
