Old plug Posted March 5, 2015 Posted March 5, 2015 I'm sure it will work. I just tend to lean toward the old bass fishing rule "big lure = big fish..." and have not tried it. X 2 But I think it will catch more crappie than bass right now. Crittermo---- If your out of Rocky Mount your already in what is commonly called the north shore area. I had home in Lick Branch Cove for sometime before I moved up here on the Gravois. There and many many North shores. Remember the sun is farther south and cast more sun on the banks facing south. Just look for them and try them. But do not fall in love with those type try others as well.

But do not fall in love with those type try others as well. X3, I used it a lot last year at LOZ, and caught a good # of crappie, even in the summer. Smaller fish on avg than a larger jig in summer months, as suggested here. Definitely catches em too though.
