Does anybody know if Cabela's walleye tournament is still on for this weekend?

I called Stockton COE today to order my yearly launch sticker; they said tourney is on as scheduled, and that boats have been on the lake all week. March 6 & 7.

Congrats to my friends Gary Stanton and Lee Brown! Most of the fish were caught in the lower lake, either trolling cranks on lead core or vertical jigging with live bait or plastics at 35-40 feet. Fish are still in winter pattern.

I fished around the pros today for a couple hours around the dam, thought I might learn something. I didn't. Ended up with 2 walleye, one nice one around 22in. Northland fireball with a big minnow. Around 40ft.
