jerry241 Posted March 6, 2015 Posted March 6, 2015 I have officially parked the old peterbilt for the next week and am planning on spending some time on the water. Anybody got thoughts on what this warm weather is gonna do to the crappie??
J-Doc Posted March 6, 2015 Posted March 6, 2015 Should push them up a bit. But I'm not sure. I have not been in weeks. Need marine repair? Send our own forum friend "fishinwrench" a message. Ketchup Posted March 7, 2015 Posted March 7, 2015 How good of a fishery is Beaver? Ive driven by it many times, but never fished. Its a lake i rarely hear about, but within resonable drive for most of us. TinBoats BassClub. An aluminum only bass club. If interested in info send me a PM.
jerry241 Posted March 7, 2015 Author Posted March 7, 2015 I believe beaver is a very good fishery... That being said it is defiantly not an easy lake to figure out. Luckily there are a few guys on this forum who are happy to share their knowledge

It ain't no Bill Dance stock pond that's for sure. :-p It's a puzzle and it can drive you nuts but it can reward you as well. I love fishing it. I could drive to Table Rock or Grand and catch fish easier (they say) but it's too much of a drive when Beaver is 10-15 mins for me. I like a challenge and I'm learning more and more every year. Come down, I'll take you for a tour. If you will take me for a tour on Stockton. :-) Need marine repair? Send our own forum friend "fishinwrench" a message. He will treat you like family!!! Ketchup Posted March 7, 2015 Posted March 7, 2015 Anytime J, Stockton and Pomme are both good fisheries, and you have a good chance to catch numbers and quality. Of course, that depends on if you spit on your bait or not. Im up for a challenge. Looking on Google Maps Beaver looks like a lake i fished often in Ohio..Lots of structure, and I love structure. Tanderson15 Posted March 8, 2015 Posted March 8, 2015 Beaver is not a lake to fish. Please do not waste your time, TR is closer and better.
