With all the buzz about the K dock area, I had to fish. Well we put in at noon out of K dock and the boat would not start. I had trouble out of it the last time I went a week ago and thought I figured out the problem, but didn't. We trolled around from the ramp upstream all the way out of sight of ramp and then back. We graphed several groups of fish, like described before by others, but didn't get a bite in about 4 hours. We tried creek chubs, soft plastics, and Flicker Shads with nothing to show but frustration of the day. We loaded the ramp and went upstream to Swan creek and found a nice bank to chill out and casted out minnows and ended up with 3 walleye. So that made up for all the days frustration beforehand. They quit biting after dark.

Nothing worse than having boat trouble, especially this time of year.

Thanks for the report. I would be happy with just one eye to show for a day spent out there. Im pretty sure those big schools of fish are whites? What was the water temp around K Dock?

The temp was 40 degrees everywhere I went, but like I said, that wasn't far.
