shockley32 Posted March 9, 2015 Posted March 9, 2015 It's been a while, I've been out of town and a lot of the water has been hard, however I made it out Saturday. The back end of coves are still froze, however not enough to deter any fishing. We started out on the Lindley, had trouble locating fish and shad for the first two hours. I found one small ball of shad and we caught 8 fish under it, however that was all I found up the Lindley. Headed up the Pomme and found a lot of shad, the fishing was hot and heavy for the next hour and twenty minutes. We ended up with two limits, most of the fish were caught during a one hour stretch. We just worked down the bank, edge of the channel along a bluff. When we found shad we would catch 6-10 very quickly, then would keep going down the channel until we found more shad. Sometimes the shad were just 20 yards apart, other times they were 100 yards apart. All total we probably caught 65-75 crappie. Fished 20-30 feet of water, 16-25 feet deep. All fish caught on 1/8th oz blue jigs. Brad Phil Lilley 1 Have your visited Limitville lately?
