Terrierman Posted March 11, 2015 Posted March 11, 2015 Filling Station, Hwy 13 about a half block north of H. Only go there if you like honest to pete really good home cooked food and/or BBQ. Had lunch there for the first time today and will most assuredly be back. Family owned and operated. Small place. Excellent quality. If you have to have a beer with your BBQ you need to go someplace else though. I HAD to try the bread pudding. Some of the best I have ever had. Little pieces of apple in it really added. Great little place, unqualified recommendation to give it a try.
dtrs5kprs Posted March 11, 2015 Posted March 11, 2015 My favorite BBQ at the lake. Dave is originally from the Kansas City area, and does BBQ right. Have to try the homemade cobbler, and burnt ends on Thursdays.
