What it is today will not mean anything from the weather forecast it looks like tonight and tomorrow we will be getting 1.75'' of rain in Fayetteville area (KNWA) if that is true then the river will be mud. Currently the Mudline is right at Hickory creek and that much rain could put it to Monte Ne / Horseshoe bend easily.

I agree, thats on the conservative side. If we get over 2" or better, it could run muddy into next week & push the mudline further.

The good news, that area should warm up faster & put the fish shallow by next week.

Its currently raining down near Combs at the Hwy 16/23 junction.

That can set the stage for a much bigger flow if this keeps up.

The water typically clears behind the mudline if no further rain. Typically a spring mudline might go almost to 12 Bridge, and be somewhat clear again a little above Blue Springs.

Only had 0.2 inches of rain here last night, but just started raining again. This rain should warm the upper lake and help start the spring spawning runs.

I noticed the west fork transitioned from mud to green stain. Hope it stays that way.

Just looked at the radar. Arkansas, nearly all of it is green with little yellow spots here and there. Looks like I am going to get my wish for a good spring rain. Man do we need some water!

it has just kinda drizzled all day in Fayetteville. Haven't looked at the totals, but this is not exactly a toad strangler so far.
