Turbidity is very high. It won't be worth fishing in the river this weekend unless there is a clear creek arm somewhere.

The white river jumped 10ft overnight, it's crested and sneaking back down. But you can't tell it. That water is dangerous swift right now.

I drove over and looked at the Beavorama ramp. It is usable now, but the water is chocolate milk and there is visible current. With no more rain it should clear up enough to fish in a week. The lake level is 1116 now, ideal for that ramp is 1119. The gravel/dirt parking area is muddy but usable. It has been stirred up by ATV riding where they are prohibited. No corps enforcement that far up.

Did anyone try to get out this weekend? Watching the graphs, it looks like the water was rolling high and plenty stained. Turbidity has dropped a lot so it may still be muddy, but not chocolate milk. Still, the current is higher than I normally like.

I"m trying to decide between fishing the Bevaorama area tomorrow or going down to Van Buren and crappie fishing the river down there. I'm leaning towards the Arkansas river at the moment.

they were running the Ark at 80k cfs earlier today, its pretty dangerous at that speed.

Its come down some, but 40k is stout for a smaller boat.

I would hot lake it, or stay home. but thats me

I just want to say, you guys are awesome. I just read through the entire two page spread and the collaboration and sharing of information is incredible on here. Thank you, to everyone who is contributing on here. I am planning on hunting eyes and maybe some white bass this weekend, so, if I have any luck, I will definitely share.

Thanks again!
