johndarin Posted March 12, 2015 Posted March 12, 2015 Today was a very nice day. I actually got a little hot while I was out fishing today! the fishing was a little slower than yesterday but they were still cooperating. My dad and I fished the same area of Long Creek and caught crappie and white bass but there were a lot of other people in the same area. After a few hours we moved to Cricket Creek just to get away from the crowd but there were a few boats there too. We decided just to fish right where the two creeks come together and it was a good choice. We caught more crappie and white bass. The majority of the fish were in about 24 feet of water. We caught them on swimming minnows on an 1/8oz jig head. Champ188 1 Darin Schildknecht Pro Staff - Lilleys' Landing Resort & Marina Lake Taneycomo, Branson, Missouri

Alex Heitman Posted March 12, 2015 Posted March 12, 2015 Thanks for the report guys. Good job on the water. You can bet it will be swarming with boats this weekend ha
johndarin Posted March 12, 2015 Author Posted March 12, 2015 Nice DD! Same place right? It was swarming with boats. To many for me thats why we moved to the confluence of the two creeks, no one within about 300 yards. Darin Schildknecht Pro Staff - Lilleys' Landing Resort & Marina Lake Taneycomo, Branson, Missouri

Members hunter_3780 Posted March 13, 2015 Members Posted March 13, 2015 What do you think this rain will do to the crappie? I hope it doesn't scatter them out to much.
johndarin Posted March 15, 2015 Author Posted March 15, 2015 I went today and long creek was full of trash! I didn't even try to fish there I just fished a little in cricket creek and caught some. Darin Schildknecht Pro Staff - Lilleys' Landing Resort & Marina Lake Taneycomo, Branson, Missouri
