Fish24/7 Posted March 12, 2015 Posted March 12, 2015 WT warming to upper 40's or more in some spots 654.63 5-7:30pm Theodosia Area Had some new susp. jerkbaits to try out and they worked great for these BS bass ! The bass fishing has been very challenging the last few weeks. Hopefully it will get a little easier in the near future. So yesterday eve after about an hour and a half of scanning/searching areas where they had been, I figured out they were susp. shallow out in the middle of the lake, and lots of them! (see screen pic) Couldn't find anything near the bank or anywhere else. Boated plenty of short bass and had a dozen keepers, several lmb in the 3lb class w/ a few spots 12-14" on the new sticks. Got a nice 18" walleye right at dark was a bonus but let her go too. Wonder where they will be today?
Fish24/7 Posted March 13, 2015 Author Posted March 13, 2015 it's been a good winter jerkbait bait bite so far, and it's still working, hope it stays good
