Members SGFChief Posted July 20, 2006 Members Posted July 20, 2006 Are you at work trying this? Maybe your IT staff is blocking that port. We restrict a good deal of "non work-related" surfing here at my office.
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted July 20, 2006 Author Root Admin Posted July 20, 2006 No it's a connection this time I think. Lost it a couple of days ago when the generator kicked on.
Kayser Posted July 21, 2006 Posted July 21, 2006 I'm not at work, and a bad connection would explain the fact that I haven't been able to view it after 3days of trying. Anyways, is the LakeCam page supposed to just have those 2 pictures on it (One of a dock; the other black/blue stipes). If not, then I think I might have to play with my settings for a while. Thanks for the info. Rob WARNING!! Comments to be interpreted at own risk. Time spent fishing is never wasted.
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted July 21, 2006 Author Root Admin Posted July 21, 2006 TroutCam is back on. All you'll see is water coming at you... today at least. LakeCam is only one image from my office. Waiting for the dock to be finished before putting the second camera down there.
Members SGFChief Posted July 21, 2006 Members Posted July 21, 2006 Phil-- What speed of internet do you get down there? I wouldn't have thought they would have piped DSL down that far yet. But what would I know....

Kayser Posted July 22, 2006 Posted July 22, 2006 Thanks for getting it back up, I'm finally connected! Unfortunately I can't see a thing. I don't remember, did you take the light of the camera? Anyways, thanks for gettin it back online. I'll try again in the morning. Rob WARNING!! Comments to be interpreted at own risk. Time spent fishing is never wasted.
Kayser Posted July 22, 2006 Posted July 22, 2006 Finally see what everyone's been raving about, and I have to agree: AWESOME!!! For the next expiriment, I think we need to drop different colored streamers(hookless, of course) down in front of the camera and record which is most preferred under what conditions. Rob WARNING!! Members moonshiner1980 Posted July 24, 2006 Members Posted July 24, 2006 love the cam tryed to watch it last night but not enough light now that its day time i can see ALL the fish and a few grandads. Fight the good fight.
Kansas Fly Fisher Posted July 24, 2006 Posted July 24, 2006 I just logged on to the cam. It's about 4:45p.m. and they must be generating water cause it's moving fast on the cam. That was kinda neat to watch for a bit, seeing all the stuff floating by. Born to Fish, Forced to Work KSMEDIC.COM
