Members rls1936
Is there a trick to viewing. I get a black movie screen that says Ready in the lower left. Any advice?
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted March 20, 2006 Author Root Admin Share Posted March 20, 2006 There can be only 5 viewing the cam at once so it could be busy. However, for some reason, some people are not able to view it. I wish I knew why. You might try again and if you keep having trouble, try another computer. Members rls1936
Tried three different computers with the same result. I get the black movie screen, says Ready in the lower left. If I click the play button, it changes to "connecting to media" then goes back to Ready. I'm wondering if it could be my Windows media player settings? If I figure it out I'll post here so others know.
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted March 21, 2006 Author Root Admin Share Posted March 21, 2006 I have told people in the past to update their versions if they don't have the latest and that's helped in some cases. It is running... there are 2 viewing it now. Water is cloudy again because of the rain but not bad.
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted March 21, 2006 Author Root Admin Share Posted March 21, 2006 Interesting- I'm sitting here watching the troutcam- there's someone fishing with some sort of egg or dough ball and he's dropping it right in front of the camera. He's had multiply bites--trout taking the bait and blowing it back out and he's not even feeling the strike. the creek chubs are poking at it like crazy but again, no set of the hook. But for the most part, the trout aren't paying any attention to it.

Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted March 21, 2006 Author Root Admin Share Posted March 21, 2006 It's been down- off and on. Water may be the problem (rain). I may have a connection that's getting wet.
Snow Fly
Phil: Glad I took the time to read all 4 pages. Someone mentioned Firefox {Mozzilla} possibly being a problem to few the trout cam so I switched to Internet Explorer and it works now. now I can see what you all have been talking about. This is great. "God gave fishermen expectancy, so they would never tire of throwing out a line"
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted March 27, 2006 Author Root Admin Share Posted March 27, 2006 I've noticed that since the breakdown a couple of weeks ago there's hasn't been alot of traffic on the trout cam. Before it had 5 viewers on it all the time. It brings me to believe people are having trouble viewing it. Anyone?
