JohnF52 Posted March 26, 2015 Posted March 26, 2015 It takes at least a few hours for the surge from the south end to reach the gauge at the dam.
bferg Posted March 26, 2015 Posted March 26, 2015 Well- this jacks up my plans for fishing tomorrow. I assume the War Eagle will be completely blown out...any idea where the mud line might be on the lake tomorrow?
JohnF52 Posted March 26, 2015 Posted March 26, 2015 Probably the mud line will reach at least to Horseshoe Bend.
Feathers and Fins Posted March 26, 2015 Posted March 26, 2015 My guess on the mudline is it was already stained to the Islands at 12 bridge and heading toward Coppermine, this rain will probably reinforce the mudline from both river arms North toward those areas with stained water all the way to Fords Creek based off past events like this one. It will make the lake dangerous with hazards but could just turn on more fish already or at least make it a little easier the clear water has been good but a little stain will make it great for crappie and walleye certainly. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Beaver-Lake-Arkansas-Fishing-Report/745541178798856
jdelow77 Posted March 26, 2015 Posted March 26, 2015 The gauge for war eagle is at 8 feet , it was at 2.5 yesterday !

Your correct on this. The mudline has passed our intake facility which is past the Islands headed toward the dam.
nathanhooper Posted March 26, 2015 Posted March 26, 2015 That's what I was told at least, I have not personally been down to look.
