Riverwhy Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 Fished mid lake on Sunday afternoon. Water temps in the mid to upper fifties. Went to the creek arms and fished the transition between muddy water and green water. Threw regular and lipless crankbaits. Whites and largemouth were biting well. Also caught a hybrid and a short walleye. Absolutely shocked me that fish were that aggressive this early. At one point we were catching largemouth on what seemed like every other cast. Ham 1
Members parsonsles87 Posted March 17, 2015 Members Posted March 17, 2015 what color was doing the best? i fished the upper lake and did well on the mudlines jigging but not one keeper eye out of a dozen and buncha whites about six inches long? i couldnt get a bite on anything but chartruese. i tryed jerkbaits for a bit but im new to hard baits so after trying a couple different baits with no bites i went back to old faithful bucktail
