Dewayne French Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 Put in at the Elizabeth Ramp with the water color a heavy stain (relative to the Norfork normal "GIN clear") and 61.8 water temp. Ran out to the first big turn and there was the RED MUD & 58 water temp with lots of Floating Debris, didn't go any further. Fished some bank areas around this area that normally have the first Crappie action and we did catch several keepers and shorts and a mix of small bass as well all on crappie tubes and small grubs. With all the small bass I was like so I tossed a wart for about 15 mins and had a 4.25lber and a couple over 2 1/2 all LMB, then went back trying for crappie. No whites but there was white action in the middle of the coves and a few busting close to the boat just didn't try. It wont be long!! Good luck Stay safe and enjoy the blessing of the Spring season, Before we all start complaining of the HOT temps! Fish24/7 and ZX190Jones 2
