Sac River Jim Posted March 21, 2015 Posted March 21, 2015 you might also consider Ruark Bluff area. id probably troll a #7 flicker shad in purple tiger color on the flats and up sons creek to the three hills area. you can hit the points and pockets and probably be productive. also the pockets in the ruark east camp ground might be good too.
Aggressor1988long Posted March 21, 2015 Posted March 21, 2015 Sacriverjim nailed it!!!! Sac River Jim 1
mjk86 Posted March 21, 2015 Posted March 21, 2015 Question....how do I catch x species under y conditions during z time of year? Answer....exactly what jim said lol draggin purple flicker shads around stockton lake has significantly improved my catch rate on that lake of about every species. Sac River Jim 1
Members sixstring531 Posted March 21, 2015 Members Posted March 21, 2015 My buddy had a 50+ crappie day and tons of keeper whites out of Highpoint last weekend. I've fished with him there before and he really does stay in and around (easily within a mile ) of the Highpoint access.
