Members nymphermaniac Posted March 21, 2015 Members Posted March 21, 2015 Any caddis coming off yet? I'm thinking about heading down to the White next weekend 3/28 and I am planning on bringing my lady. Would love to get her into some easy catching if the caddis are active. Any info will be greatly appreciated.
Nighthawk Posted March 21, 2015 Posted March 21, 2015 Just got back from there (Saturday evening). Fished Wildcat, Rim, and Roundhouse. Struck out at Wildcat and Rim but got into them at Roundhouse. Nitro caddis was the hot fly. A few measly caddis came off as it warmed up in the afternoon. Should be a better hatch by next weekend.

Ham Posted March 22, 2015 Posted March 22, 2015 I saw a few coming off. The trout were really biting today, but I don't think it was Caddis driven. Every Saint has a past, every Sinner has a future. On Instagram @hamneedstofish
grizzly Posted March 24, 2015 Posted March 24, 2015 I was down two weekends ago. Didn't see caddis, but bad luck on a red or dark brown midge about 16' below a palsa indicator by the dam
