Members Bream Posted March 28, 2015 Members Posted March 28, 2015 If you could only have 3 crappie lures on Stockton, what would they be? List answers by the different seasons that you fish for them (spring, summer, fall, and winter) I haven't caught a crappie at Stockton so I don't have any favorites and that's why I'm asking!
Aggressor1988long Posted March 28, 2015 Posted March 28, 2015 Chartreuse 1/16 head with a lime/green squiggly tail MeatintheFreezer and Bream 2

Sac River Jim Posted March 28, 2015 Posted March 28, 2015 1/16oz pony head with either bobby garland blue thunder, red thunder or blk/chart tale in strollR's . their split tails in blue ice and hyper grubs in smoke work well for me too. Bream 1
Members Nathan Shaw Posted March 28, 2015 Members Posted March 28, 2015 Not much of a winter fisherman, but any other time I target crappie I use minnows or 1/8-1/16 heads with crappie magnet bodies. Usually lean towards anything with purple in it. Bream 1
wuteversbitin424 Posted March 28, 2015 Posted March 28, 2015 Any lead head thats 1/16oz and lemon meriange (late spring/ early summer), john deere. ( anytime )and wally world(fall) in little two in grubs Bream 1
mjk86 Posted March 28, 2015 Posted March 28, 2015 Flickr shad (troll) usually best in summer but prolly works all year. Keitech 2" swing impact (slow retrieve/ drft troll) spawn. Bobby garland baby shad (vertical) all year. I dont fish there in the dead of winter but there is a wealth of info from those who do. Sac River Jim and Bream 2
Members unclefish Posted March 28, 2015 Members Posted March 28, 2015 crappie magnet-flicker shad and minnows don't fish much in winter Bream 1
zarraspook Posted March 28, 2015 Posted March 28, 2015 1/32, 1/16 & 1/8 oz depending on the depth your fishing -- Dynamite in the spring and works good the rest of the year.. It can be slow rolled on the bottom with very few snag ups..... NOT TOBE FISHED ON 2lb LINE... I have caught 4.5lb flathead catfish, drum to 3lbs, carp to 9lbs, and have lost count of the WALLEYE caught on this lure.... slab slinger, Bream and Sac River Jim 3 "Look up OPTIMIST in the dictionary - there is a picture of a fishing boat being launched"
