Jerry Rapp Posted April 1, 2015 Posted April 1, 2015 Wednesday is usually golf day at the local course, but a buddy called yesterday and said he got on a pretty good bite fishing at Clearwater, targeting the original shoreline in front of the trees(lake is 10 foot high from the recent rains). So I decided to go with him today. He was dragging a c-rig lizard, so to try something different I put on the non mentioned, little bait. Within 30 minutes he had one of them tied on. Cast up against the outside edge of the flooded brush, let it sink to bottom, about 8 feet deep, and we would slowly drag them down to around 12 to 15 feet. He is a counter and said we caught 37. Best five were all over 4lbs, with one that went 6.76 on his digital scale.
