Lifes2Short Posted April 4, 2015 Posted April 4, 2015 Decided to fish the clear water today so I put in at State Park about 7:00. What a beautiful day on the water, very little boat traffic and a very light SE breeze. The catching for me was really good before noon, after that it was very spotty. Ended up with 18 bass, LM, Spots, and one nice Smallie. The first 12 fish netted me 9 keepers. Best 5 would have only gone 11 or 12 lbs. Every bass but 2 came on the crankbait, main lake points and the first channel swing bank inside the cut was what worked for me. The dogwood's are in bloom and all is right in the world! Tight Lines! larryace, Jbrant, blacknoseddace and 1 other 4
Lifes2Short Posted April 4, 2015 Author Posted April 4, 2015 Water temps started at 46 and by 4:00 it was 51. Bluebird skies.

dprice Posted April 5, 2015 Posted April 5, 2015 We launched out of state park. Fished maze creek and price branch. Spinnerbait with no prevail. we had numerous on square bills and 14 foot divers. But still 10 limit. Most cme from my son who was patiently standing in back of boat! I still don't get how to fish the arig I opted to fish main lake to dam ...we finally threw it for 3 hours. Again small limit and most out of back of the boat. I need help with this rig deal . For a easy bait I'm dumb founded on where and how to fish this thing Sac River Jim 1 Dprice priceheatingair.comĀ

Tight Lines! thnx for the good report I'm hoping we have a stable pattern starting to develope. USA bassing had a derbie out of Hartley on saturday with 27 boats and alot were fishing same pattern. it took over 25lbs to win it.
Basschomper Posted April 6, 2015 Posted April 6, 2015 I got to fish the USA Bassin Saturday. The only couple good fish we caught was early on a main lake point with chuck rock with an A-rig. One was a 6lber and the other a 4lber. We tried other main points but couldn't get the same results. Just got lucky for once. The rest of the day we used jerkbaits on main and secondary points. We had about 10-15 keepers and a handful of shorts. Sac River Jim 1
